October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer
Even today 1 in 8 women are diagnosed with Breast Cancer. The National Breast Cancer Foundation provides early detection screenings, including mammograms, breast health education, and a supportive community.
We all know someone who has been impacted by breast cancer. We also believe that this is a fight that can be won. By creating awareness, promoting testing and early detection, through charity, and spreading positivity. Even amidst a cause so widespread and known, we believe in keeping the support as local and as close to home as possible.
Ever wonder how we can maneuver and cram these vehicles into our showroom?
Usually, showrooms have double doors which can be opened wide enough to accommodate a vehicle. Our showroom at our Bristol store is no exception. Although, these doors were designed a while back, and vehicles just keep getting bigger! Like the RAM TRX in the video showed here.
A designated person (usually a manager, salesperson, or lot attendant) bravely drives the vehicle through the somewhat narrow opening, hopefully without hitting the side mirrors. In this case, it was our own finance manager Charles who took the reigns.
The vehicles are then carefully maneuvered into place on the showroom floor (which we have outdoor tiles for!), without hitting any of the other vehicles in there.
Getting out can be more difficult, as the existing vehicles may need to be shuffled to provide a clear path to the door.
The tradeoff to this process is that our highest grade and most popular vehicles get to keep their “showroom finish” right up to the point where they are sold. Check it out!:
Fellah Auto Group’s Partnership with Cradles to Crayons Ready for Learning Initiative
Five team members of Fellah Auto Group volunteered at the Giving Factory in Philadelphia PA to participate in the Backpack Challenge. The team packed close to 400 backpacks in 2 hours to help Cradles to Crayons move toward their 50,000 backpack goal.
The Ready for Learning initiative provides tens of thousands of backpacks with school supplies. The backpacks contain clothing, shoes, and more, which are then distributed to kids in need, giving them the tools and confidence they need to learn and succeed.

Some students will have physical classrooms among peers, some scheduled virtual lessons, and some a hybrid of both. Access to these essential learning supplies requires financial support. The pandemic is palpable—1 in 2 American households report some employment or income loss since the pandemic began. Removing Barriers to Quality Education
Eighty-eight percent of teachers report poverty as one of the biggest obstacles to student success. With new barriers to quality education due to COVID-19, it is more critical than ever to provide the essential supplies kids need to thrive at school or in remote learning settings. Cradles to Crayons’ Ready for Learning initiative will set students up for success by providing learning essentials to 50,000 children—free of charge. These supplies will be distributed through our 180+ social services agency partners, serving kids hardest hit by the pandemic.
Why Support Ready for Learning? When it comes to education in the age of COVID-19, research suggests prioritizing child-centered services, with a focus on equity of access. • Families spend an average of $320 a year on back-to-school supplies. For families already pushed to limit, these essentials are both inaccessible and unaffordable. • Cradles to Crayons serves more than 150,000 Philadelphia children each year with high-quality learning essentials.

We are also conducting a food drive at all three of our stores – Bristol – Philadelphia, and Springfield PA, to collect nonperishable food items, which will go to Preston and Steve’s Campout for Hunger.
