The Fellah Family is working with Philbundance, Beer-A-Rama, 215 Mopar and the local community to stamp out hunger with our Fall Food Drive.
In 1984 Philabundance was founded by an idealist named Pamela Rainey Lawler who saw perfectly good food going to waste, and, at the same time, saw people going hungry.
What started out as a small food rescue organization operating out of a Subaru, 30+ years later, is an innovative, impactful and collaborative organization distributing more than 24 million pounds of food a year to those in need.
Philabundance is a proud member of Feeding America, a nationwide network of food banks leading the fight against hunger in the United States.

ABOUT HUNGER
Hunger hits every zip code in America. Without access to nutritious food – or enough of it – people can’t thrive. It affects everything – from health to education to financial success. It is hard to concentrate on school work, find a job, or manage a heart problem if you struggle with food insecurity. Hunger is one of the harshest and most detrimental symptoms of poverty. Most simply, it is a result of not having enough money to cover all of your basic needs.
To drive hunger from our communities today and end hunger forever, we need everyone to collaborate, including corporations, foundations, individuals and the government. We can’t do it alone — we must work together. Philabundance not only runs numerous programs to alleviate hunger today, but also launched in spring 2019 Ending Hunger. For Good. Through that program, Philabundance partners with critical service providers to offer food coupled with other services to help break the cycle of poverty and end hunger for good.
